Noah’s fight!

Hi, my name is Lauren McCoy and I am starting a go fund me to help two of my dearest friends Katie and Ryan Danski’s 2 year old son, Noah. On Saturday, May 7, Noah was taken to Beaumont Royal Oak’s emergency department because X-rays had shown a suspicious mass in his abdomen. He had only shown signs the day prior of not eating, vomiting once and having an upset tummy. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, Katie and Ryan received devastating news that Noah was diagnosed with a Wilm’s tumor (nephroblastoma) on his right kidney. After a CT scan was done, it was confirmed that the tumor is extending through his inferior vena cava into his right atrium. Noah received his PICC line for outpatient chemotherapy as well as a chest tube on Tuesday, but because he has a lot of swelling, is spiking fevers, has elevated liver enzymes and is very sick, he will be staying in the ICU until further notice. The plan is to do chemotherapy for 4-6 weeks, reevaluate with another scan, and then removal of the tumor with surgery. Please consider donating to help Noah with his fight against cancer.
