Captain Dennis M. Wheeler, 69, of Middletown, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 and is predeceased by his son, Dennis "DJ" Wheeler who was tragically killed in a car accident on November 21, 2003.
In honor of DJ's memory, Dennis helped to create The DJ Wheeler Memorial Scholarship Fund shortly after DJ's death to provide financial assistance to graduates of Middletown South and North. Since then, the scholarship has been used to support numerous local nonprofit organizations that the Wheeler family hold dear to their heart.
In honor of his son, DJ, and the scholarship fund Dennis created, we are asking for donations in his name to help continue the tradition of helping other organizations and causes that were important to him. Thank you for helping us to continue this legacy of education and community.
