On July 8 DJ was hit by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle on I90 in WY. He was life flighted to Rapid City Regional where he has been in the ICU.
DJ must of had an army of guardian angels riding with him that day because over all he is doing well. He has a stable fracture in his neck, a serious concussion, lots of road rash and various other cuts and bruises.
While it is expected that he will make a full recovery, he has a long rough road ahead. He spends most days sleeping with the help of some great pain medication but each day we see slight improvement. Today was a good day. He had a couple friends visit and he woke up each time to tease and give them a hard time. Best medicine in the world for the family!
