Family and friends, we are raising money for our brother Kico's medical expenses.
As many of you know, on Saturday May 16th our brother was transported by ambulance to a hospital near San Antonio Texas with a ruptured appendix. He was in critical condition for a week as he became septic and was placed on life support because his vital organs took a direct hit. At that time his doctor was preparing us for the worst but our brother is a fighter and is making progress towards recovery. He is still not out of the woods as the sepsis caused a lot of internal damage.
The doctors are hopeful he will make a full recovery however the road to recovery will be a long one. Once the hospital is certain he is done with surgery and treatment, they will move him to a local Long-term Acute Care Facility. The estimates are that his recovery will take months.
We continue to have faith he will fully recover and are thankful to everyone that has kept him and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
In an attempt to help relieve the financial burden of medical expenses, we are asking for your help with monetary donations.
Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers as we have no doubt that has given him strength.
Our sincerest gratitude,
Kylah, Kity and Rosa
