DJ Jay Meyer's Cancer Benefit

Our good friend, employee, and camper, Jay Meyer was diagnosed this summer with a form of cancer called "Squamous Cell Carcinoma." His doctors along with a robot had to perform a procedure called a "Neck Dissection" where they removed two tumors, all of his neck lymph nodes and tonsils. He now has a 6" cut down the side of his neck. 
      The good news is that the doctors think they got all cancer, but the bad news is that Jay has to still undergo 6 weeks of radiation.  Jay's procedure and the upcoming radiation are extremely expensive and he has minimal insurance. They think their insurance will only cover about 60%. We know our campaign goal is ambitious, but it probably still won't cover a quarter of his bills.
      So many people love Jay! He's always donated his time to play music at all of our big camp events so all of our campers of all ages can dance the night away. He keeps the Tiki Bar hopping with music throughout the summer. He's always there to lend a helping hand for his friends, family, and people that think of him as family. He's the life of the party and always there to make everyone laugh whether it's with him or at him, lol.
      Normally, we'd have a big outdoor benefit where we could all get together and support Jay and raise money that way. Unfortunately, with COVID-19 we are unable to do that.  Any donation you make is greatly appreciated by both his family and his camp family.  Please pass this on to your friends and family and help Jay out if you can.  Thank you so much!!
