Hello all,

I’m Brian, Dj’s oldest nephew, I have collaborated with his best friend, Brannon Sharpe, to create this account.

As many of you may know he is currently abroad providing medical assistance to the many folks in need in Ukraine. The few stories that have been shared provide a profound look into the resilience and pride the Ukrainian people have for their home.

Home indeed is where the heart is.

Unfortunately, while assisting patients DJ received a very alarming text message from a neighbor within his condo building advising that there has been a fire. A fairly large one at that.

Fear not for Mr. Kitters! He’s safe and sound and was at Brannon’s home during the event.

As DJ is away details have been few and far between. What we know at this point is a structural fire has occurred that will displace him for the forceable future.

While we do not believe the fire made direct contact with his home the mitigation efforts are expected to take a number of months due to the caution required with removing the impacted areas as well as addressing issues like asbestos and updated code requirements.

This account has been created to assist him with the mountain of expenses that he will face in the coming months.

With your help we are looking to raise a total of $5,000.

These funds will alleviate a huge burden for a guy whose currently on the other side of the world with a simple suitcase to his name.

For years I have admired his ability to make friends with anyone and everyone he comes a crossed. As a firm believer in karma I feel this is our turn to be there for him in his time of need.
