This is the last set he played out, so precious in many ways and will also include his red record box. For each £10 donation made from today, Thursday 18th June, your name will be entered into the draw which will be drawn at midday on Gordie’s birthday, 21st July 2020

The most tragic thing about DJ Gordie passing now (during Covid-19) is that many thousands of people would have travelled from around the world to his hometown of Penge, South London to say goodbye, pay their respects, hug each other, meet new friends and party!
Gordie's funeral would have caused a road block, chaos created by love!
There is so much love for this man.
You know before digital social networks even existed he had an analogue global network of friends across the world. Gordie is the biggest rock star the world hasn't ever
heard of.
To you, he may have been DJ Gordie, to others he was Goodsie, Railway Gordie, Biker Gordie, Spud, Gordon, G, Golden Boy, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Legend, The Don.
To us all he brought the sharpest of unflinching wit, tunes, poems, inspiration, compliments and that smile on that face!
There never has and never will be a man like him. If you had nobody else to care about you, protect you, school you, he would. He culd rip you apart with just a few words too, usually it was truth and you knew it as soon as the words hit your eardrums.
So what do we do to say farewell from a distance and to ensure he lives forever with
us in spirit and mind
