DJ Dalton Memorial Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know, on April 1, 2021, another angel gained his wings, far too soon. Our beloved Damon “DJ” Dalton was tragically taken from this life and the devastation felt is impossible to express.
DJ was a fiercely loyal, loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, god-father and friend. He had an absolutely gorgeous smile, amazing hair (that was his pride and joy – anyone who knew him can attest) and a huge heart that he wore on his sleeve. He loved the outdoors and doing daredevil stunts and shocked everyone with his ability to defy the laws of nature and very rarely get hurt. DJ loved and lived wholeheartedly and was truly a light to all who knew him. In his final act of selflessness, he was able to donate his organs to save the lives of others and leave a legacy of love behind far greater than the worldly fame he wished to gain.
Many friends and family have asked how they can donate so we are creating this page to streamline the process and allow anyone who is wanting to help to be able to do so. Donations will go directly to his parents to help with funeral and extensive medical expenses. He was in the U of U Neuro Critical Care Unit for 6 days on life support, half of those days waiting for the process of donating his organs. DJ gave the ultimate gift as he was able to save 4 peoples lives by donating his heart, liver, and both kidneys. His parents are planning to donate any excess funds to two charities, Donor Connect and The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Please consider helping out DJ’s loved one’s through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without him. Any amount will help! Thank you in advance for your support!
Do it for DJ ❤️
Please use #doitforDJD to spread the love and support for those who may be struggling with mental illness or addiction. His family would like to share the message that if you loved DJ use his life as motivation to overcome your struggles.
