Hush Puppy’s Storage Unit and Apartment.
Donation protected
Hey there, My name is Michael and I’m trying to raise money for my close friend Hush Puppy . My best friend lost his husband and left most of his husbands belonging inside of the unit, he couldn’t afford to keep himself a float and became homeless. Soon his storage unit is going to be auctioned off between March 20th to the 23rd. I’ve watched him break down and I can’t let him lose that stuff because it’s going destroy him. Any and all funds will be going directly to Hush Puppy so he can pay off his storage unit and keep those belongings whilst he looks for a new place to move into. Please don’t let me and my friend down.

A Word from Midekai
I'm organizing a fundraiser to help Hush Puppy retrieve and preserve the memory of their late husband Fin Ortega by helping Hush Puppy retrieve the irreplaceable artwork, keepsakes and possessions of Fin from a storage unit that is in danger of being put up for auction. The unit was put into late payment mode due to Hush Puppies mother cutting off support for him during the pandemic. Hush Puppy is currently disabled with a spinal injury, with several herniated disks in their spine, a broken thumb from a pitbull attack, and serious heart palpitations that have persisted for years and cognitive issues from trauma and PTSD from Fin dying suddenly in their arms. Hush Puppy is nonbinary, currently homeless, living in their car, hoping to retrieve the possessions from the storage unit which goes to auction on March 22nd. All they have to remember their late husband by is his personal possessions, artwork, Fin's favorite kigurumi and various clothes.
Please understand it is very likely that if they don't rescue this storage unit, they could become suicidal...
As a friend of theirs, I have seen them struggle with mental illness and unfortunately toxic living situations. I was a personal friend of Fin Ortega and he was a wonderful, caring, kind and humble person. It broke my heart irreparably hearing of their sudden passing. And as a friend of Hush Puppies, I wanted to give back in a way and give him some peace of mind by giving him the memories they've shared and the safety and security they deserve.
If the funds are raised before the date of the auction, the bill will be paid in full, the storage unit will be accessed and the items will be rightfully retrieved. Anything beyond the goal goes towards making sure they will be able to feed their service dog, secure a place to keep them from homelessness and help them secure a place to live while dealing with their medical issues.
We both thank you immensely for reading their story and hope you will consider donating, or sharing. And as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, this helps lift people like us up and makes the world so much better. So bless every single one of you for reading this..
Hush Puppy and I have had a complicated history with one another and we set aside our differences to come together to help them get this his late husband's belongings so please consider contributing or sharing anywhere you can.
God bless.
