Hello beautiful AXOs, past and present :)

Our beloved sous chef Irma will not be working in the AXO kitchen this Fall . Food service management cited lack of work for her position due to reduced occupancy, and the good news is that it's possible that Irma will be re-hired in the spring. **Update** It was initially unclear if her termination was temporary or permanent; however Irma has since received confirmation from the food service company (due to our advocacy!!!) that her employment will be re-instated when occupancy returns to normal! Kayla (former AXO chef and Irma's coworker) will be withdrawing funds on behalf of Irma and sending them to her via 3 separate checks, per her request.**

Whatever happens, we wanted to raise a "severance" type fund for Irma if she in fact was terminated permanently, or at the very least to help her get through her period of unemployment, as a token of our appreciation for her years of loving and dedicated service. Any amount at all is appreciated :)  we know times are tough for everyone and not everyone can help, but please share with anyone who you think is able to! <3 <3
