DIY Filmmaking - Kino Datsche Leipzig

Kino Datsche e.V. ist ein Leipziger Verein von unabhängigen Filmschaffenden und Schauspieler*innen, die sich für die unabhängige Film-Szene einsetzen und am Medium Film bzw. dem Filmemachen interessiert sind.

Unser Ziel ist es, freie Filmschaffende zusammenzubringen und bei der Produktion und Distribution ihrer Werke unterstützen. Wir legen großen Wert darauf einen toleranten und achtsamen Raum zu schaffen, in dem unterschiedliche Menschen zusammenkommen und gemeinsam kreativ werden können.

Im August organisieren wir unser 10. Kino Kabaret in Leipzig. Vom 20. - 27. August werden zwei Workshop-Sessions stattfinden, in denen rund 60 Teilnehmer*innen gemeinsam Kurzfilme von der Idee bis zum fertigen Film realisieren. Am 23. und 27. Wie über 200 andere Projekte in Leipzig sind auch wir davon betroffen, dass das Kulturamt Leipzig derzeit bis mindestens Ende September keine (vorläufig) bewilligten Projektmittel auszahlen darf. Da wir bereits über 40 Teilnehmer*innenanmeldungen erhalten haben und unser Veranstaltungsort, die HP7 nur im Sommer bespielbar ist (wegen fehlenden Heizmöglichkeiten) können wir nicht verschieben und bleiben bei unserem Datum.

Deswegen sammeln wir nun auf diesem Weg Spenden.

Mit eurer Unterstützung ermöglicht ihr eine Vergütung der ehrenamtlichen Vereinstätigkeit und die Arbeit des Organisationsteams, die während des Kinokabaretts 24/7 ein Festivalbüro betreuen wird - wo sie rund um die Uhr Technik verleihen, Fragen beantworten, die Teilnehmenden unterstützen, Essen und Trinken bereitstellen und die Filmvorführungen durchführen. Wir versuchen die Teilnahmegebühr so niedrig wie möglich zu halten, um allen interessierten Menschen die Teilnahme zu ermöglichen.

Zudem benötigen wir das Geld um Filmtechnik zu leihen, Transportkosten zu decken, Speichermedien für die entstehenden Kurzfilme zu kaufen, eine Geräteversicherung abzuschließen, unsere Poster und Flyer zu drucken, unsere laufenden Kosten wie Website, Kontoführungsgebühren, Internetkosten zu decken, sowie Kaffee, andere alkoholfreie Getränke und Essen für die Teilnehmenden zu besorgen.

Kino Datsche e.V. is a Leipzig-based association of independent filmmakers and actors who are committed to the independent film scene and interested in the medium of film and filmmaking.

Our aim is to bring independent filmmakers together and support them in the production and distribution of their works. We attach great importance to creating a tolerant and respectful space in which different people can come together and be creative together.

In August, we are organising our 10th Kino Kabaret in Leipzig. From 20 - 27 August, two workshop sessions will take place in which around 60 participants will work together to create short films from the idea to the finished film. Like over 200 other projects in Leipzig, we are also affected by the fact that the Leipzig Cultural Office is currently not allowed to disburse any (provisionally) approved project funds until at least the end of September. As we have already received over 40 participant registrations and our venue, the HP7, can only be used in summer (due to a lack of heating facilities), we cannot postpone and are sticking to our date.

That is why we are now collecting donations in this way.

With your support, you make it possible to pay for the voluntary work of the association and the work of the organisation team, who will look after a festival office 24/7 during the Kinokabaret - where they will lend equipment around the clock, answer questions, support the participants, provide food and drink and run the film screenings. We try to keep the participation fee as low as possible to enable all interested people to take part.

We also need the money to rent film equipment, cover transport costs, buy storage media for the resulting short films, take out equipment insurance, print our posters and flyers, cover our running costs such as website, account management fees, internet costs, as well as provide coffee, other non-alcoholic drinks and food for the participants.
