Dixxon needs emergency bladder stone surgery
Donation protected
Our doggie loving family discovered our 2 year old Dixxon boy needs surgery to remove his bladder stones.
During a wellness check this week we discovered a dozen stones that were blocking his ability to urinate. Our Vetrinary Doctor recommended surgery within the next 2 weeks to alleviate his discomfort and avoid a full blockage. Days later the worse happened and we returned to the emergency room this Sunday.
They were able to drain his bladder and run diagnostics on his kidneys. He needs a specialist for the emergency surgery to remove the remainder of the stones.
Unfortunately we were not prepared for the monetary or emotionally tough decisions ahead. With kidney failure looming, we made the tough decision to bring him home once stabilized to be comfortable with his family while we make calls and arrangements.❤️
We are asking for any help or contribution for our young doggie. He is otherwise healthy and will make a full recovery with this surgery. ❤️
We have covered the initial X-rays, exams and diagnostics but cannot afford the emergency surgery and are trying everything we can to find the funds so we don’t have to surrender our boy.
We appreciate all the love and support from our friends and family at this time. Thank you for thinking about us, messaging us and holding our baby boy in your prayers
