You can help support Saveafox Rescue by helping our foxes who reside here. This campaign Is for Dixie. Over a week ago she broke her leg playing. She went to the vet and got her leg splinted. On day six her splint got wet from the snow and needed to be removed and rewrapped. I immediately noticed something was wrong. She went back to the vet for more X-rays and they found that she had dislocated and shattered a portion of her bone (X-rays posted on IG Mikdolittles_animals)
Dixie has now been referred to a specialist. She is going to have many more follow ups and surgery to correct this. We have spent over $1000 as of now.
