Divina Grace Barrozo Tapia

Dear friends and family,

Last week, Mary Kathleen "Kat" Tapia and Alvin Martin B. Tapia's mother, Divina Grace Barrozo Tapia unexpectedly passed away at Alvin's home, leaving a huge void in their hearts that can never be filled. She was not only a devoted mother but also a faithful soul who found solace in her religious beliefs, cherished moments in her garden, and treasured the time spent with her family.

Now, as they mourn the loss of their mother, they face the task of ensuring they fulfill her wishes of a burial and laying her to rest alongside her husband Vicente Martin O. Tapia and daughter Abigail "Abbott" Jensine B. Tapia, who they also lost at a young age. Divina's husband and daughter, who are currently at Forest Lawn Long Beach, California, will be picked up by Alvin & Mary and bring them back to be laid to rest together with Divina in Mountainview Lakewood, Washington. The cost of removing and transporting their remains from California to Washington, the burial, and funeral have now exceeded $30,000.

In this time of grief, we reach out to you, friends, and extended family, for support. Divina's last two surviving children, who are already enduring the immense pain of losing their mother to help them with the financial burden of this unexpected expense.

In lieu of flowers and meals, we ask that you consider helping us honor Divina's memory and wishes but by providing financial assistance to her family during this difficult time. Any amount you can give, whether small or large, will make a significant difference in their lives.
