Divest UMass

We are a student power group organizing for climate justice at UMass Amherst.  For the past three years we have been working to pressure the UMass adminstration to withdraw their investments from the fossil fuel industry and to invest in the just and sustainable future we want.  We successfully pushed the UMass board of trustees to divest from coal last December.  This is a huge win for our campaign, but the fight is not over.  The urgency of the climate crisis means that we must work harder than ever this spring to harness the momentum that we have created to win divestment from all fossil fuels.  We will be making outreach materials, signs and banners, hosting events and giving trainings.  Given our limited resources it will be hard to propel this campaign to victory without help from family, friends, and supporters that believe in the work we are doing.  Any contribution made to this campaign will be recieved with much gratitude and will be a tremendous help in our fight for climate justice.
