We are a teacher and an international adoptive parent working with library media specialists that recognize the power of books to teach people about others, increasing their respect and empathy for all people. We will use the funds raised to purchase multicultural books from local independent bookstores that will be distributed to participating schools in greater MN.  Participating library media specialists will be able to choose  books for their school that reflects the needs of their students.
