Hi,

Our names are Becca and Angela. We have known Rick for oh so many years and he is a ONE-OF-A-KIND amazing person and one of THE very best friends that a person could have. If you have met him, then you know instantly that HE IS A KEEPER. He is not just a friend, he is immediately a part of your family. His fun-loving, adventurous, and has a HUGE HEART. If you are loved by him, he makes it known. He would do anything for you and loves you unconditionally. Rick loves Steph, Marley and Macy to the ends of the earth and we love them too. Please help us by donating to their family. Rick has a long road to recovery and the financial burden is going to be hefty.

Ricks Journey:

Last year Rick was taken to the hospital and we found out that he had a blood infection that was causing some havoc. He was in the hospital for several weeks and even celebrated his birthday during that time. He had 25+ of his closest friends and family wishing him well and singing happy birthday from the parking lot outside his window. With balloons in hand and signs saying "FREE RICK"!! We were yelling and chanting and showing our love. He was eventually sent home on a high dose of antibiotics because he was determined to be well enough to walk Marley down the aisle at her wedding on August 20th.

After Steph had her life-altering battle and won, he did as well. Last year was one of the scariest years for their family and now the battle has returned. We would like to be able to help in any way that we possibly can. Rick would do it for us and we want to do it for him.

Rick has had the blood infection raise its ugly head again and it did more damage to the already weakened heart valve than we originally thought. As you could imagine, heart issues are strenuous and will take some time to heal. He can beat this once again with our prayers and support!

Please pray for Rick and his family during this battle and help in any way that you can.

Rick, Steph and the girls need to focus on Rick's recovery through the surgeries that he will need and through the long-term care that he will need to recover after the surgeries. Travel expenses to be out of state, housing, food and fuel all add up and as we all know, insurance doesn't cover all of that.

Rick and his family would give the moon and the stars to be there for their loved ones and they have been such amazing friends and what we call FAMILY.

Please help us in easing the financial burden that comes with such a heavy-hearted diagnosis. We can't take away their pain and struggle but we can ease them financially.
