Since 2017, Dive Hu5 has been built with and for the people who walk through our doors. What started as a neighbourhood New York style dive bar has grown into a place shaped by its regulars, its conversations, and the community around it.

When COVID hit, like everyone else, we had to adapt. We created a hatch service, installed coffee, and found new ways to keep serving you — not just to survive, but to stay connected and keep the bar alive during a tough time. That spirit of adapting and improving has always been part of who we are.

Now, we’re taking one week to close so we can refurb and improve the space. The goal is simple: make Dive Hu5 a better bar — more comfortable, better laid out, with a safe clean environment for food service- and ready for the next chapter, while keeping the same character you know and love.

A few customers have asked how they can support the upgrade, so we’ve set up a GoFundMe for anyone who’d like to be part of that journey. There’s absolutely no expectation — the biggest support has always been you choosing to spend your time here.
