They say God gives his hardest battles to his strongest fighters. As many of you may know, one of the strongest people we know has come face to face with one of life's hardest battles. Dan Ditty was diagnosed with cancer on October 1st, 2014. While this news has hit hard and fast, the support of family and friends will get Dan and his family through this fight.
At this time, little is known about the specifics of Dan's diagnosis. This specific type of cancer is very unusual, very agressive, and has resulted in a tumor that attacks a salivary gland in his throat. A long process of radiation and chemotherapy treatments will be the first steps towards recovery.
While there is still so much to learn about what lies ahead, there are many things that can be done to show support for Dan and his family through their fight. Due to the severity of his treatment, Dan will be unable to work during the upcoming months. Things like medical bills, treatment expenses, pharmacutical costs, living expenses, and more are quickly adding up. We are asking for your help in meeting these financial needs. Any amount helps, and all support is appreciated more than words can express. Please utilize this website for monetary donations, and feel free to share the link with friends, family, coworkers, etc., who may be willing to help.
In addition to this donation page, a benefit dinner is being planned for Saturday, November 22nd, 2014.

A $10 donation provides entry & access to a taco bar dinner. A cash bar will be available, along with jello shots and baked goods for purchase. 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase, as well as for a gun, crossbow, and an MTS high table and four chairs.
Check back to the site soon for more information on these items, a silent auction, and T-shirt sale information.
Thank you for all of the support that has already been shown so early in this battle. Dan has been an incredible figure in so many lives throughout his years of coaching, work, and simply being Dan. There is no one more deserving of love and support, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us through this fight.
