Dissonance - A short film

Hi there!

My name is Max and I am the producer of the short film Dissonance, directed by Rafal Szuba. I am a film production student at The University of Salford and this is our crew's final production. We are hoping to raise funds for the film in order to make it the best it can possibly be!

Production is set to go ahead in early March.

Dissonance is a short film following a young musician struggling to fund their dreams. Aleks, a disadvantaged young adult forms an friendship with Riley, a financially successful artist who was dealt a better hand in life. The story follows the two as they struggle to understand each others hardships due to their different backgrounds.

Last year, we wanted to prove the concept worked and created a short titled 'Where it all begins' which communicated the style and tone we are aiming for. Take a look!

Who we are

We are a crew of 10 students who are extremely passionate about developing an engaging story. Each of us have trained tirelessly over the past 3 years in our own specific fields to create the best possible film products we can. We hope to use this film to jumpstart our careers in film production and tour the UK's best film festivals after University.
