Hello, I am Cindy Bae, the writer and producer of the upcoming short film <Dissolution>. My team and I are raising funds to bring this visually unique fantasy drama to life this March.

[The Story] Skye was born with a body made of delicate cotton candy. After 16 years of hiding from the heat and humidity, she takes a leap of faith: a hike to the legendary 'Standing Stone' to wish for a normal human life.

Accompanying her is her best friend, Ivory. As the sun breaks through the clouds and Skye begins to melt, the journey becomes a race against time. But Skye isn't the only one hiding something; Ivory carries a secret of her own that will change everything at the summit.

[Why This Film?]

Visual Metaphor: We use the metaphor of "cotton candy" to create a world of soft pastels and striking textures, visualizing the cloying sweetness of melting sugar and the fragility of the human form.

The Message: By revealing that the seemingly resilient and the visibly delicate are bound by the same vulnerability—both dissolving with a single drop of water—this film highlights how easily we overlook the fragile truths of those around us.
