Supporting Biosphere Solar

The energy transition is kicking off. Solar is on your roof, their roof, everyone’s roof. Yet solar is also in landfills, being shredded, used as asphalt filler, shipped to god knows where… so, with Biosphere Solar we’re striving for a solar revolution where circularity, transparency, and fairness are core ingredients.

We’re developing a solar panel that is repairable, fully recyclable, and that is made of fair-trade 'ingredients’. As a spin-off of TU Delft, we’ve gathered a team of 5 people all ready to bring this solution to humanity.

And for that, we need money. For more than 2 years now, Biosphere Solar has been running with volunteers and interns. But now is a critical turning point: Biosphere Solar needs people who can work full-time on it. People that it can give and be given back to. Today, we’re raising €24,143 to make sure Biosphere Solar can thrive and bring to the world the technology that it has been shaping and developing for the past 2 years. Without these €24,143, Biosphere Solar will not have the funding it requires to bridge the gap between today, and future investments and revenue. A gap that is currently of around 3-6 months, give or take how rapidly investments and revenue can be reached.
