The image here is of the apartment complex my sister-in-law, Rosa and her two girls, and their cat lived in. It has been completely destroyed by the #CampFire that ripped through Paradise, CA. My sister-in-law was on her way to pick up the girls from school when she received the order to evacuate immediately. She had no time to go back home. She picked up the girls from school and headed to friends in Chico, CA. As you can see, she and all the other families from this complex lost everything. She's not even sure if their cat was able to escape.
It goes without saying that all they have is literally the clothes on their back. They have no home, no personal belongs, and all tangible memories are gone forever. We've offered them to come stay with us here in Meridian, Idaho. We have the room for them but we don't have the means ourselves to help them to buy clothes, school supplies, and anything else they need. The funding we are asking would help get them here and help them to begin putting their lives back together. We have some great schools here in Meridian for the girls to attend and both my wife and I will have no problems helping their mother find employment.
Bernadette Miyasato (Rosa's sister) will act as the primary beneficiary for this campaign to assist with all financial resources while Rosa focuses on all other aspects of her rebuilding efforts.
Any bit that you can donate would be overwhelmingly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
