Yulieth’s family is displaced and needs protection
Donation protected
Last May 25th, my sister Yulieth (the girl in the picture) was murdered by criminal groups operating in the municipality of Simiti, Colombia, in the southern department of Bolivar. These criminals attempted to extort her at the pharmacy she and her husband owned, where they lived with their daughter. She refused to give in to their extortion, and as retaliation, they took her life. My other siblings and I have been seeking justice and the truth behind these events by filing the relevant complaints with the Prosecutor's Office and other judicial entities.
Due to this, my family has faced multiple threats to stop investigating the case, which led them to be forcibly displaced with their relatives to another city in Colombia in search of safety. However, the threats have reached them in their current location, putting their security at risk. At the moment, they haven't found a place to settle down and they are collecting funds to move to a safer place and be able to cover their basic expenses for housing, food, and transportation.
In total, there are 8 people affected, including 2 children and a pregnant woman, who are now displaced and in need. Leaving everything behind, they require financial support to restart their lives in a safer place.
I greatly appreciate any contribution you can make to this cause since my family is currently in a situation that jeopardizes their security, and their resources are limited.
