Because of damage due to the crazy storm, they will be without a home for a week. The home of Eden, Jomial and their 4 year old son, was damaged in the crazy storm this week. A giant tree fell on the rental house where they have lived the past 8 years. It took out the PG&E lines and electrical boxes on the side of their home, plus an overhang and some siding. PG&E estimates it will take a week before they can return home. Like many people in California, they work hard but have just enough to cover their living expenses, but not enough to develop a savings for emergencies. They have been staying at a hotel, but even the cost of that is outside of their budget. Community, can you donate to help them cover the cost of being displaced from their home this week? Or, do you have a vacation rental or an air bnb in Sebastopol, Santa Rosa or surrounding areas? They need to stay at a place close to home in order to not disrupt Ami's school and their work schedules. A place with good internet preferably because Jomial works a full-time IT job from home.
