This is Daniel Boudreau — an artist, musician, and a cherished part of the London, Ontario community.
Daniel was deeply involved in London’s music scene throughout the 1980s and 1990s, sharing his talent and passion with so many. In the early 1990s, he followed his artistic calling to Madrid, Spain, where he spent seven years studying and growing as an artist. His life has always been rooted in creativity, resilience, and community.
In 2025, Daniel’s life took a sudden and devastating turn when he suffered two heart attacks. Since then, he has been unable to work. Like millions of Canadians, Daniel does not have access to a family doctor, which has created an overwhelming barrier—he cannot qualify for ODSP without proper medical support. Despite applying to over a dozen doctors, he has been unable to find one willing to take him on as a patient, likely due to his complex health needs.
As if this weren’t enough, Daniel is now facing the loss of his home. He has lived in the same apartment for over 20 years, but the building has fallen into severe disrepair due to neglect by the landlord and is now being condemned. The building has become unsafe, with serious concerns including crime and drug activity. Daniel now urgently needs to find a new, affordable place to live—but with no income and limited resources, this has been incredibly difficult.
Friends and loved ones are doing everything they can to support him, but we cannot do this alone.
We are asking for your help to give Daniel a chance to rebuild. Funds raised will go toward securing safe housing, basic living expenses, and helping him through this critical time as he works toward stability and proper medical care.
Every donation—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing Daniel’s story.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
