Become Part of "A Year of Living Bravely" (Book)

Are you a person who "lives bravely?" What is bravery and why do some people live courageously while others are crushed by life's challenges?

These are some of the issues I am looking at in my new book project, "A Year of Living Bravely."

My goal is to raise $25,000 to support myself and my research team as we travel the world interviewing people who live with bravery and courage, challenging norms and building community.

Themes are developing. People who are in recovery from addiction or trauma, LGBTQ individuals, indigenous people, women (especially those who also belong to one of the other communities mentioned), those from marginalized communities, and artists seem to have important and focused insights into living bravely. These are some of the people we will meet with and interview.

To gain a wide perspective, conversations will take place in the USA, England, Ecuador, New Zealand, Australia, Namibia, South Africa, and Thailand. If funds permit, additional interviews may be scheduled in Canada, Mexico, and Bhutan.

Your support will help give a platform to voices that need to be heard.

The result will be a nonfiction book that we hope will shed light on what it means to be brave and inspire people to greater action to live with courage, vulnerability, and vibrancy.

Please give what you can and share this fundraiser with your community.
