Hello, I am Josiah.

I want to grow deeper in my understanding of the Word so that I can disciple and encourage those around me, to be a light in the darkness, to bring hope and clarity to those who need it most.

I was made aware of a school that is hosted at Port YWAM in Kona, HI called a Discipleship Bible School. It is a 3-month Bible school, starting January 14, 2026, concluding in early April.

During my time there, I will read the entire Bible, observe the chronology of biblical events, better understand each book in its historical context, understand the harmony between the books, be able to recognize the different genres of literature, and major themes found in the Bible, while growing in community. This course would better equip me to disciple those around me.

The funds will be used primarily for paying for the school. The amount of the school is $4,200 USD (~$6,000 Canadian) plus flights, which comes out to around $7,400 CAD. I need to raise is $4,500 for this to be realized. I will be contributing as much as I can, which is currently between $3,000-$4,000.
