I have decided to join the Saint John Society!

Please help me continue on this path of discernment with your generous financial support and most of all, with your prayers.

How It All Began

Through your prayers and financial generosity, last year I was able to work as a Volunteer Missionary at the Newman Center at Oregon State University of which the Saint John Society administrates. Cool video here about what we did last year

During one of the retreats the Newman Center and my fellow VM’s were having for one of the programs for the students, I experienced my own call during adoration at the retreat. It became very clear what I needed to do, which was to continue on this path in my vocational discernment. With the guidance of my spiritual director, and a strong calling, I decided to join the Saint John Society!

Being around the Saint John Society, I took part in one of their programs throughout the Volunteer Missionary year called Samuel. It is a program for helping young men in discernment of their vocation in life, more specifically to discern the priesthood.

Before entering the discernment program I have been home this summer and during my brief stay I have been volunteering my time to help update the rectory at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, which is where I grew up and practiced my faith. I will be returning to the Saint John's Society in Corvallis, Oregon, at the end of August 2021 but with a different path than last year. I will continue my vocational discernment with the help of my spiritual director.

Your support is very appreciated during this important time in my life and you will forever be in my prayers. Thank you!!!

More About My Volunteer Missionary Year

The Newman Center is dedicated to student ministry, while walking with others and helping them along their path in faith. By experiencing this mission, I grew even deeper in my own faith.
