Tom Monroe the Johnny Appleseed of Flying Disc Sports needs your help.
After a sudden illness in February of 2023, it was found that Tom had a bowel obstruction. During life-saving surgery, it was discovered that Tom has numerous cancerous tumors in his abdomen, including the one that caused the blockage. Due to complications, Tom has required two additional emergency surgeries. He is currently back home after the 3rd surgery. He is recovering with home health care coming in to help him regain
strength and prepare him for treatment for the cancer. He will start seeing an oncologist to get a better diagnosis, and prognosis, and determine a plan of action.
We have started a Go Fund Me Fundraiser to help Tom and Denise with the medical bills and support during these trying times. Tom has impacted thousands of lives through disc golf. This is an opportunity for all to show him our love and support. It will go a long way to help ease the financial burden of healthcare costs and loss of income during this stressful time. Any gift will be greatly appreciated, and it will help Tom to focus on this new fight.
