For  my upcoming marathon Jungfrau-Marathon 06/09/2025 (Switzerland) I will be raising money for Humanitet – a small, grassroots charity run by a husband-and-wife team who get emergency aid directly to people affected by war and disaster. They’ve personally delivered aid in places like Ukraine and Lebanon, and they support people in Gaza and other crisis zones through trusted local partners. No big admin. Just real help, delivered fast and with heart.

It really is my pleasure to raise funds for Humanitet - I know both Kanwar & Jas personally as friends, I know their dedication, insane work ethic, integrity, humanity as individuals and to the fantastic work they do together as 'Humanitet'.

Their approach is simple:

      •     90% of donations go straight to aid

      •     10% covers core running costs

      •     No bloated admin or red tape — just flexible, compassionate action where it’s needed most.

Like many of you, I have watched with disbelief and horror at what is currently happening in Gaza (and beyond); I feel like it is important for me/us to do whatever we can (no matter how small) to stand in solidarity with the People of Palestine.

Since November 2023, Kanwar has traveled to Cairo five times for the Gaza disaster relief project; he is due to travel again around October 2025.
