Disaster Relief Funds to Recover from Tornado Damage

On Sunday, May 26, 2024, tornados came thru the Northwest Arkansas area. High winds uprooted a large oak tree in the front yard and dropped it onto the corner of our house. The tree broke thru the roof and walls of the house and into one of the bedrooms. The winds blew the shingles and roofing from the house into the back yard of the house. A large magnolia tree in the back yard was also damaged. We are currently not able to live in or work from the home until it is repaired and all utilities are reconnected. We were blessed that no people, pets or cars were harmed in the damage. We are currently looking for a temporary place to rent until the insurance adjusters take a look at the damage and the house is repaired. There was severe water damage to the contents of the home due to the rain coming thru the damaged roof. Most of the furniture in the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and effected bedroom will need to be replaced. I know many in the area have also been affected by the storm and have damages they are dealing with as well.
