Disaster relief from Hurricane Ian

Hello, my name is Tanya. I am Nancys daughter. My mom lives on Fort Myers Beach. Unfortunately she has just endured Hurricane Ian. She had to leave her home on the beach to hopefully avoid encountering the effects of the hurricane. She was inland with a friend and his wife. The house flooded and they had to spend the night in the attic listening to the 155 mile an hour winds and rain. Once Ian had passed they were able to get to a dryer place by boat. She has lost her car. At this point she has no idea what is left of her home if anything. It is very scary and heartbreaking. I would like to help her rebuild what she had lost.

She is a caring and giving person who did not deserve such devastation.

***Update** My mom got to her apartment but she lost everything, except a few mementos. It is devastating. She is strong and will do the best she can with what she has.  

PS. My mom is very independent. She does not know i have set up this page for her. I just feel helpless and want to help her in any way we can. Thank you
