Disaster relief for the Frame Family house fire!

My name is Dominique and Cathy Frame was my neighbor for over twelve years, coworker for over seventeen years, and a great friend of mine.

Today, on January 22, 2024, while receiving chemo treatment for breast cancer in NYC, a devastating fire erupted in their home. The house is currently unlivable and most of their belongings were lost in the blaze. They also lost their beloved companions: their dog, Cindy, and their three cats China, Squeak, and Spices.

Cathy, Bob, and their son Andy have lived in their home for the past 25 years. They are well-known in town for their extravagant Halloween display. Everyone can count on the bride of Frankenstein to greet her audience with smiles against the backdrop of ghouls and ghosts. Bob puts immense work into this annual exhibit to bring immeasurable cheer to countless trick-or-treaters in the Wood Winds community. Cathy is a bank manager who believes in giving back and uplifting her employees. She is supportive, kind, and selfless, and has supported many people in need throughout the years. Cathy served on the Dover Town Board for 5 years and is heavily involved in the Hudson Valley chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The Frames are a loving family who have supported and provided resources to those in need during times of crisis. Now it’s our time to help them!

Their neighbors and great friends; Christina Ortiz, William Ortiz, Wanda Crowley, and Bill Crowley have also lived in the same neighborhood for over 25 years. Although I recently moved out of the neighborhood; they contacted me today as we have shared intimate life moments together. All of us are ready to unconditionally help our dear friends, the Frames.

With Cathy undergoing treatment for breast cancer, suffering this devastating loss creates more stress which can hinder healing. No one should ever have to go through this unfortunate event, especially while their health is compromised.
