Disaster Relief for Farlow’s Jamaican Families

Donation protected
On October 28, Hurricane Melissa, a record-breaking Category 5 storm, made landfall near New Hope in Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica. It was the strongest hurricane ever to hit the island, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. Homes were destroyed, families were displaced, and entire communities are now struggling to recover from the massive destruction. Farlow’s Jamaican Families are among those hardest hit, facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

We are raising funds to provide immediate and long-term disaster relief for these families. Donations will be used to purchase nonperishable food items, bottled water, medical supplies, temporary shelters, hygiene items, first-aid kits, tools, tarps, generators, bedding, clothing, and communication systems like Starlink. We also aim to supply inverters, solar panels, and batteries to restore power and connectivity, which are critical for recovery efforts. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping families meet their most urgent needs as they rebuild their homes and communities.

Please join us in supporting Farlow’s Jamaican Families as they recover from this unimaginable disaster. Every donation, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those who have lost so much. Your kindness can help rebuild lives and restore a sense of safety and community. Together, we can make a real difference for those who need it most.
