Disaster relief for Emma, Justin, Bertie & Lupin

Hello friends, family & community-

My name is Molly and my sister is Emma Damon Johnson.

As many of you know, on Thursday Feb 3rd, while the Johnson Family (Emma, Justin & Bertie) were traveling out of State, their family home in Southwest Harbor was tragically destroyed in a fire. Fortunately they are all physically unharmed, but sadly their pet cat, Belly, perished. She will be sorely missed and was very loved by all.

As you can imagine, this is a devastating loss. Unfortunately the entire structure, as well as nearly all of their possessions, are beyond repair.

There are immediate necessities needed to continue on with their daily life, and there will be many more short and long term needs as they assess & do their best to move through the coming weeks/months.

We have been humbled at such an outpouring of love & concern for this wonderful young family- so many of you, our supportive local and extended community, have asked how you can help. The financial burden for The Johnsons is large, and the emotional fatigue will continue for some time. Your generosity of any amount will be graciously accepted, appreciated and serve to alleviate a tremendous weight currently on their shoulders, as they work to restore their lives.
