Hi, I’m Azalea Myles Roldan, born and raised in the Philippines, a representative of the Wexford Filipino Community, humbly reaching out to you with a heart filled with concern and compassion for our beloved homeland, now suffering the unimaginable devastation of Typhoon Fung-wong, locally known as Super Typhoon Uwan.
This catastrophic storm has left thousands of families displaced, homes washed away, livelihood destroyed, and communities in despair. In moments like these, the Filipino spirit of “bayanihan”, our deep-rooted sense of unity, compassion, and solidarity, reminds us that we are strongest when we come together.
The Wexford Filipino Community is raising funds to provide urgent relief and recovery support to those most affected. All donations will go to the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), a trusted organization leading national disaster response and rehabilitation efforts.
Though far from home, our hearts remain with our people. To our Irish friends, local communities, and fellow Filipinos abroad, your generosity can bring hope and healing. Even the smallest contribution can help rebuild lives.
If you cannot donate, please share this message so we can reach more hearts and hands willing to help. Together, let’s show that compassion knows no borders.
