I'm starting this Go Fund Me for my nephew Michael Shriey, his wife Alexandra, and their 8 month old son Mateo.
They had recently relocated to the Houston area in May 2017 for Mike's employment. He was transferred there to assist veterans and help them receive the benefits that they need. He works for the Wounded Warrior Project in Houston, Texas.
Along comes Hurricane Harvey and completely takes the area by surprise in dumping trillions of gallons of water at an unprecedented rate, flooding Mike's family home and belongings as well as other Houstonians.
The city is at a standstill as well as the people and because I live so far away ( St. John, In ), this is the best I could do via social media.
Mike is a decorated war veteran, having served three
tours in Iraq, and is currently serving active duty. He is still serving in the public domain with Wounded Warrior Project. His wife is a stay at home mom, providing and caring for their adorable little boy.
Any amount you can give would be welcomed to help get this young family back on their feet again. They are in need of diapers, baby food, baby formula, clothes, shoes, food, etc. Our family, thanking you in advance!
