Dear friends,

This month for disability pride, PPA is raising funds to help two longstanding disabled working-class PPA activists with immediate needs. We are hoping to raise $4,800 for one of our Black queer woman leaders. This amount will be used to provide her with $400 a month for a year to help with living expenses, food, transportation, and medical needs. The additional $3,000 will go directly to the purchase of a power wheel chair for one of our white trans queer superfat leaders who is in need of a mobility aide.

PPA is dedicated to the ongoing work of abolition and the complete destruction of Racial Capitalism and Cis Hetero-Patriarchy and all forms of ableism that flow throughout these systems of oppression. We believe in intersectionality as a goal and necessary tactic of revolution. Supporting our disabled activists through mutual aide is fundamental to this goal. Please help us with any amount that you are able to give.
