My name is Thomas McGovern I am criminal defence trainee lawyer who alongside another trainee set up a group within law called ‘Disabling Barriers Scotland’. It is a support and lobbying group for lawyers with registered disabilities and or issues surrounding neurodiversity. We are in the process of registering as a charity where me and my collegue would be trustees. We are a new group that has gone from 20 to 80 members however we lack funds to expand in terms of a website and in person events. I box white collar on the side of being a lawyer and I’m fighting on 11/11/23 at the crown plaza hotel Glasgow. Any donation/sponsorship for my fight would be greatly appreciated and those that do so will be registered as supporters of our organisation/soon to be charity on our future website.
