Hello! My name is Katharina and I’ve been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease since October 2012.

Beginning 2015 I was pronounced to be incapable to continue working, disabling me to work any longer. Only being 37 and after years of being a workaholic was that a shocking outcome. Now I have 45 operations at the hull, unable to get operated anymore. After falling into a coma 2021 in I was wheelchair-bound, having been diagnosed with Polyneuropathy, once again my world shattered, more than ever. As if that wasn’t enough I also lost all my long hair and was separated from my car due to a core issue.

All my doctors are an hour drive away, needing to rely on others to drive me is not only a trouble, but also feels humiliating. I do not have freedom in my own life, if I had car that would change.

I would need an car younger than 5 years which can handle getting rebuild to get a wheelchair lift since that is what Germany says is necessary before they allow you to get your car modified for that. That is why I would need around 20.000 euro. I am currently going through a harsh time with my boyfriend, we are going to split up soon due to my mental health heavily declining. If I was able to get this car I could see my family whenever I want to, go to places I want to see and ensure that my doctors see me whenever its needed, it would allow me to live without relying on others.
