Our family dog, Chase, was shot by an unknown neighbor in our clearing by our house. As a disabled Marine Corps veteran, he is my emotional support animal. We took him to the emergency vet, which has already been $5,000. We filed a police report and have been in contact with the humane officer. The police pretty much said if we don’t know who did it, it is just damaged property and we can’t pursue an investigation. My husband, our kids, and I just want him to be taken care of and get the care he needs. The bills for him are piling up so any help, and ongoing prayers would be extremely appreciated!
