Disabled Veteran with stage 4 thyroid cancer

Hi, my name is Gordon Stimson II, and I am fundraising for help with medical bills and other expenses. At the age of 40 I was diagnosed with stage 4 thyroid cancer due to burn pit exposure in Afghanistan in 06 and 08. Since I was diagnosed back in October of 22, I have had to quit my job of over 10 years, sell my truck, and scrape by since my life was changed forever. I have currently been unemployed since the diagnosis in Oct. Luckily the VA rated me at 100% disabled and benefits started coming though in May 23 helping take some stress off my back. Due to regular insurance ( from my employer at the time) not all things are fully covered. I hope you don't, but if you know someone with Cancer, medical bills can pile up quick which put me in a hole that is tough to climb from on a limited income.

In no way would I change a thing, as far as my service to this great country is concerned. It happened to be some of the best moments in my life. Sadly, my time in the Air Force has caused serious issuess for me but I wouldn't change a thing.

As you can see from the profile picture, I was recently married to the most wonderful woman in the world. She has stuck by my side through this whole ordeal and I couldn't be more thankful. I would love to get my life back on some sort of track so I can take care of the love of my life.

100% of anything donated will absolutely and positively go towards medical bills incurred since my Cancer Diagnosis. If there happens to be any left over I would love to give my new Wife a honeymoon she deserves.
