Donation protected
My very dear wife Vicki broke both of her hips and has had 4 operations and many complications!!! She was in a hospital bed in our living room and I took care of her every need, every day!!! I made her laugh most days and I took care of her with a song in my heart!!! I was so glad that she was still with me because she almost died on her last operation!!! Low blood pressure!!! I did not leave her side except for shopping and getting medications!!! I slept in an easy chair right next to her incase she needed something in the middle of the night!!! She would wake up at 2:30 Am and need to be changed and I was right there taking care of my honey!!!
Anyway I was taking care of her and I fell and broke my leg!!! I made sure she was taken to the hospital with me and she was in a second ambulance right behind me!! At the hospital I was admitted for my broken leg!!! When they took me upstairs I made them wheel me to her room in the ER and said I love you so much and I am not sure when we will see each other again but I will get back to you as soon as I can!!! It was very sad for sure!!!
The freaking social worker visited Vicki and sent her home with a company called Home Instead Senior Care at $25.00 @ hour!!! 24 hours a day!!! That is $600.00 @day!!! in 41 days the bill came to $25,500.38!! She could have been in a very good nursing home for less!!! The social worker from the hospital never did anything further to help my family!!
We are just regular people with regular bills that we had under control!!! We lived within our means and this bill nearly floored us!!! We do not have that kind of money piled up any place!!!
To be real honest I hate to ask for help with this bill!!! But by the Grace and Strength of Almighty God it will get paid!!! We have taken out a personal loan to pay the bill but the loan will take years to get paid off!!! I have always been the person that helps others and to be in a position that I am asking for help is very strange!!! Thanks for reading our story!!! If you can't help that is also ok!!!
