Disabled Veteran Mark "Doc" Bracy Suffers Setback

Thank you so much for your time... My name is Shawna and Mark Bracy is my father. He is a 100% Disabled Veteran. After serving our country as a USN/USMC 8404 "Devil Doc" Corpsman and putting the safety and well-being of his brothers ahead of himself, he and his wife (my momma) Tina opened the Youtube channel Bumblebee Junction. Through this outlet, they have been teaching thousands of new homesteaders and gardeners how to be more self-sufficient. He has always given and never asks for anything (despite living on a fixed Military disability income).

On May 25th of this year, while working in the garden he shares with so many, he suffered his 3rd heart attack and was hospitalized at the James Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. Blood tests revealed elevated Troponin levels in his blood indicating the heart attack, and a heart catherization revealed both the increased size of the dead spot on his heart (there from his previous heart attacks) and a 90% blockage of one of the smaller blood vessels that supplies the heart. It was also found that a prescribed diuretic had caused alarmingly low potassium levels in his blood, a potential cause behind the heart attack. They also found that he is diabetic, with no indication of how long he has gone untreated for this as well. Needless to say, these events will alter his life, and the life he shares with momma.

I am asking for your help in relieving some of those burdens until they are able to find their footing. It is not an answer and it cannot give my daddy back his health. I can, however, see the concern in his eyes as he looks to the future due to the uncertainty of the present. He is facing a whirlwind of additional testing and appointments (his VA doctors are over an hour from his house). His wife Tina is also a 100% Disabled Veteran (US Army), and she is his primary support.

Anything that can help ease their burden right now would be a blessing to them. And even you cannot give, I am sure they would covet your prayers during this time. You can also help by going to their Youtube channel Bumblebee Junction and watching their existing videos even though their posting has understandably slowed. That would also be a great opportunity for you to extend them your well wishes. I know that however you can show your support, it will be appreciated.

(UPDATE) Daddy is home from the hospital and recovering as well as could be expected. He still faces a number of challenges, which I am sure he will face on head on with momma by his side. Again, we are hoping to know more soon as he is scheduled for more tests and exams. I will do my best to keep everyone updated. I may have neglected to tell you that if you do not know me, it is my daughter Adalyn at the beginning of every video of theirs. I also wanted to assure you that every penny of this campaign will go directly to my father, for whatever purpose makes these times easier for him and his wife, Tina. Thank you again.
