I'm trying to raise funds on the behalf of Delilah Anaya to help cover legal fees and medical expenses after a wrongful arrest.

On July 16th at 7:22am, Anaya was stopped by an unmarked vehicle on the New Mexico interstate. When the officer approached her car, he was outfitted in tactical gear with no clear insignia. He did not state why Anaya had been pulled over or read her miranda rights. The officer walked over to the driver side of Anaya's car and proceed to open her car door. Immediately escalating the situation to forcibly pulling Anaya out of the car while Anaya asked repeatedly to speak to a manager.

Delilah Anaya is a US Coast Guard Veteran with no criminal background. Currently working as a nanny, a job she was en route to during the time of the incident.

Now with limited resources, Delilah is pursuing a civil rights lawsuit against the New Mexico State Police. With the funds raised from this GoFundMe, Delilah is hoping to pay her lawyer fees and off set her medical expenses from the incident and other ongoing medical conditions.
