My name is Danielle Bibi and I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My beloved uncle is in urgent need of a medical operation that could quite literally save his life. The cost of the procedure is £5,000 a sum that feels impossibly out of reach for our family, but one we must try to raise.

My uncle despite his needs he has always been a quiet strength in our family. A kind, humble man who never asked for much and gave what little he had to others. Today, he’s facing a critical health crisis that requires immediate surgery. Without it, his condition will only worsen, and we fear the consequences could be fatal.

My aunt, is his full-time carer. She has stood by his side through every hospital visit, every doctor’s appointment, and every painful moment. She herself lives in poverty and depends on limited aid from the Lebanese government — support that unfortunately does not cover this essential operation. They’ve agreed only to cover basic diagnostics like blood tests and x-rays, but nothing more.

We are heartbroken and desperate. My aunt who’s never married and sacrificed her life so that she could look after her disabled brother has done everything in her power to support him, but she cannot do this alone. This surgery isn’t just about extending his life — it’s about giving him a chance to live it with dignity, without constant pain or fear.
