Disabled Trans Man’s Rent

Hi, my name is Elliot; I'm a young queer man living in Toronto. I have severe chronic foot pain and suffer from multiple mental illnesses from a traumatic childhood, and I'm trying as best I can to make ends meet despite it all.

I work a minimum wage job that barely covers my rent by itself. I've had to rely on funds from my abusive mother for the past year to keep myself fed and off the streets; I'm trying to get the money together to become more financially independent and start living a happier, healthier life. The goal set is my monthly rent cost; by reaching it, I would be able to start putting my wages toward my savings and would be able to more comfortably afford food and other expenses such as medical care and travel costs to and from work.

Any amount would help me tremendously going forward.
