Hi my loves. My name is Ashley McGlown for those who don’t know me. I am a mom of 3 beautiful sons aged 15, 9, and 7, one of whom has autism but is brilliant, and they make my world go round.

I, in recent years, have dealt with some of the worst things imaginable, from abuse to loss of everything, but God has always covered me. I have always been the giver and remained optimistic. Ever since I dedicated my life to Christ, I have been what seems to be attacked every single day, but like Job, I will never give up.

Recently, I have been going through a lot, and my body seems to be failing on me, and I’m only 39 years old. I’m a single mom, and both me and my mom live together to take care of each other and my sons, but she is a cancer patient as well, and I am petrified at the thought of not being able to be there for them and care for them.

I have had many reach out and want to donate to me, so I decided to do this GoFundMe because we all need help sometimes, and this is definitely my time of need. ANYTHING helps, and we are grateful for it. I think it’s only fair to let you all know my conditions and what’s happened as well. Even if you are unable to donate, a prayer means just as much.

I recently woke up out of a coma not knowing where I was, but I was in ICU at the hospital in a delusional state. I almost lost my entire liver and almost died several times. I now have an autoimmune disease where my body is attacking my red blood cells. I had hepatitis of the liver, which is now being fixed, and I won’t need a transplant. The infectious disease doctor where I was hospitalized cross-contaminated and gave me shingles, which is pictured and the most painful thing I have ever endured and is expected to last 3 months. I apologize for the graphic photos, but I wanted to show proof. They mishandled me and caused me to lose a lot of blood, which I am very low on, that almost took my life, which is also pictured.

I now cannot walk and have to use a wheelchair because my legs are filled with fluid and blood consistently seeping out of my pores. Due to me reaching out to the CEO of the facility, and even after my insurance confirmed they would pay for my stay, the facility forced me out for whistleblowing, and as a form of retaliation, I am home with my sick mom and boys who could possibly contract shingles. After I heal from this, I have to have my breasts removed and a full hysterectomy as well because I too am a patient at West Cancer Center.

I have dealt with all this, and while in the hospital, I lost my brother while I was in ICU. It feels sometimes like my life is falling apart, and I am always the one who knows what to do, but now I don’t. For some reason, God keeps waking me up each day, and I am so thankful and praying to see whatever He sees in me in myself.

I am asking for donations because my income has stopped since I haven’t been to work since January 6th of this year. I just need time to get my health together so that I can take care of my kids and mom again.
