Disabled Mom Needs Help to Avoid Foreclosure
Donation protected

Twelve years ago, the Moms-n-Ministry was founded to reach mothers with the word of God. As this evangelism troupe traveled, we met mothers that were in crisis: financial, mental, domestic violence, etc. We have helped raise money to help with utilities, relocation, and school uniforms.
Now, we have been contacted by a single mother. The father died when the child was an infant. Five years ago, the mother became disabled and turned to donating plasma to supplement her income and continued to keep her bills paid as she struggled with school supplies, uniforms and raising a daughter alone. She also applied for Social Security Disability at that time; within the last year, however, things have gotten more difficult and, attempting to stay afloat, she paid half of her mortgage every month since August 2024. Now, her mortgage company has placed her home in foreclosure and she needs $16,000 to save their home.
Her social security disability application is on the verge of being approved as she awaits the decision from the judge. Her back pay could potentially cover the arrears, but the mortgage company needs a payment by July 28, 2025. Even if she is awarded her benefits, those funds will not arrive by the deadline.
This mother has applied for financial assistance with her city, state, family and with her church. Every application is pending with a 30-day waiting period. She doesn't have 30 days. The mortgage company placed her in foreclosure as of June 26.
Will you find it in your heart to make a donation? As the founder of the Moms-n-Ministry, I am asking for your help. Thank you for your prayers and your consideration.
